Regina McKinney, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist, licensed in both Ohio and Indiana. She obtained her Doctor of Psychology degree from Xavier University and then completed her APA-accredited internship through Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. Her areas of professional focus include disability assessments, vocational assessments, veteran evaluations, forensic evaluations such as competency to stand trial and risk assessments, individual counseling, and group counseling, such as anger management and sex offender groups. Much of her work has been with individuals involved with the legal system, although she also has experience working with veterans, couples, families, and individuals suffering from chronic pain. Dr. McKinney utilizes evidence-based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing.
